Sonos Speakers for Commercial Locations?

Sonos Speakers for Commercial Locations?

While Sonos does not directly make a true 'commercial' rated speaker... Terrapin AV does make a custom Sonos-Powered line of commercial oriented speakers solutions perfect for small businesses.

The CC (Custom|Commercial) Series from Terrapin Enclosure & AV Solutions is focused on just that, creating custom solutions for use with popular streaming speaker systems like Sonos, that would right at home in any coffee shop, car dealership, retail clothing shop, or really any other small business space.

With options like quick install CC1-T Drop-Tile speakers, that provide ease of installation and the clean aesthetic. Drop tile speakers work great within most any restaurant, retail, or office space where you often have acoustic drop tile style ceiling grids. And they will work equally well in a home, if your homes design has this type of ceiling, and calls for this type of speaker style.

The drop-tile includes a white grille, a steel plenum backcan provides Plenum compliance, passive cooling, and included 24" T-Bar for adapting any existing grid.

If your business has the more modern open or exposed ceiling style, then the Terrapin Pendant speakers will probably make more sense. The CC1-P Pendant with Sonos built-in provides a great audio option with high open ceilings, where you want that sleek custom look that only a Pendant offers. They will also work equally well in a home, if your homes design calls for this type of speaker style.

The CC1 Pendant includes a robust heavy plastic enclosure, moisture resistant speaker drivers, and passive cooling, ready for use in most any indoor or protected environment.

Best of all the Pendants are available in both Black or White, and the ceiling Drop-Tile speaker is paintable, thanks to its removable grille design!

And if that wasn't cool enough, how about the fact that all of these are available in universal voltage to work with 110v-240v international power systems. OR you can get them in the even more universal PoE+ version!

So, it seems the answer is YES... you can use Sonos for commercial applications, with Terrapin!
