AmpShell is a premium universal outdoor enclosure made for any electronics, ready to plug and play. Sure most people use it for Sonos AMP, but if you want to protect virtually anything from the elements this enclosure can do it. Besides the unique ultra-versatile mounting plate, it also boasts UV, impact & weather resistant housing that meets or exceeds NEMA 3R / IP54 ratings for weather toughness.
You get multiple customization options with our latest version
Each enclosure come with two 3" shrouded vent openings with fine debris filters. And ready built for up to 2 optional fans, depending our your environmental needs, plus you can always add-on the fans later if you want!
Our fans feature Dual-Ball bearings for safe multi-orientation operation, 67K hours run rating, robust aluminum housing, and low load thermoplastic blades, high qualify special 2-Pin power connector, all this means you get the absolute longest life possible at the easiest maintenance level.
And the fans, filters, and thermostats are easily user replaceable if there is ever a problem, just grab them from our shop.
And new for 2025 we now offer multi-region power options with 240v capability for our international friends - choose UK, EU, or AU plug-ends with a universal type outlet installed inside.
Blends In Anywhere
The AmpShell comes in multiple colors and is designed to be low-profile so it blends in with most any structure or landscape. You can surface mount it in a shady spot on any structure, or pole mount (sold separately). It's easy to customize and wire with extra grommets and wire glands included. Quickly and easily secure with the keyed lock, or add your own padlock.
